Terrific Toasters

Today is one of those dreary fall days. You know the ones where everything seems dark and gray. As I sit in my kitchen, on my finally arrived stools, I am feeling the lack of color. Given the minimalist decor and the stainless steel everything, my kitchen is somewhat.....well.....cold........!

Not one to ponder for long, I decided to search out the funkiest and most colorful kitchen appliances. I got stuck on toasters....wait until you see why!

Gray skies are going to clear up, put on a happy face!

Green with envy

Inspired by my friend Zeina, today I went in pursuit of all things green. Naturally some of the most beautiful green colors are found in herbs which can complement any style of cooking or kitchen decor. Is there anything more wonderful than some home baked bread and some fresh herbs and oil to go along with it.  The smell is simply intoxicating. See if these pictures don't inspire you to get out your mortar and pestle......
