Contemporary Home Office by Vancouver General Contractors Natural Balance Home Builders

So we need to renovate our home office and I'm looking for some inspiration. I already posted this pic here but when I found this picture on Houzz I immediately said "this is it". I just love the clean lines, the wood countertop and the white everything. Not to mention that gorgeous window! Given that our office is on the first floor and has a view of the garden + trees, I can totally see myself sitting here. What do you think? Would this space inspire you?

There's something about white combined with wood that I just love. I can never get enough of it.

Norwegian Sitting room

I love white and I love Norwegian décor so this room with it's cozy look is definitely one of my favorites. The simplicity of it all is what really makes my heart beat and although it is all white, the room still has a warmth to it.

An all white Scandinavian decor for this converted Rectory

Located a few km's from Malmö, the southernmost province in Scania, Sweden, a Rectory was transformed into this white oasis, punctured only by subtle touches of black and brown. Natural fibers and linens make up the accessories and clean straight lines make up the interiors.

Black & White Work Space

Modern Home Office by Austin Architect Furman + Keil Architects

I could easily see myself working and relaxing in this space. The continuous flow of the desk into the window seat makes the space seamless and uncluttered. The tree also adds another dimension - it's like a piece of  still life artwork. 

White and Blue Dining Room

This is exactly what I would've liked for my dining room. I love the mix of contemporary with traditional or classic. Even though it can be hard to do, this photo shows you how simple it really can be. The chandelier, scallop bowl and traditional material add just enough traditional to the contemporary mix. Everything looks great together and the traditional elements soften the hard lines of the contemporary table. Although I'm not a big fan of blue in décor I find that the blue here adds a serenity to the room that would be hard to imitate with any other color.

There are so many great ideas here I don't know where to begin. These photos are all from a website called Dreamy Whites which specializes in French Farmhouse décor. Lately I have found myself falling slowly in love with this type of look. I have tinkered with the idea of adding some elements of French Country into my own home but have never really been able to visualize it until now. I think 2013 will be a time for some change!

Isn't this kitchen/dining room combo beautiful. Wicker baskets, miniature topiaries and a rustic sideboard definitely give this room a French Country feel. And I absolutely love those pendant lights and that awesome clock!
