Sheepskin Softener

From warming your feet to warming your backside sheepskin rugs are showing up everywhere this year. I  live in Montreal so during the Winter it gets really cold here. Having metal chairs, such as the ones shown in the picture below, would not be an option unless I put fake (I prefer fake) sheepskin rugs on them. They would be much too cold. Adding the sheepskin rugs to the chairs not only adds warmth but also protects your back side from looking like a tic tac toe board!

I know I'm on a bit of DIY kick lately but I just had to show you another awesome project that I have fallen in love with. This project is easy, cheap to do and has big WOW factor when it's completed. 

I really think that I may try doing a wall like this in my basement along with the penny floor - my husband is now on the penny bandwagon and has decided that we should do the whole basement floor and not just the laundry room - anybody up for some DIYing with me?
