DIY String Pendant Light

West Elm's Abaca Pendant lamp has inspired many DIY's including the one I have posted for you here. I prefer using hemp string but you can use any string you choose. You can also use a balloon instead of the ball if you prefer. Check out another DIY here.

This renovated apartment from DAR612 was shown on Desire to inspire and I just had to post the kitchen and dining room. Not only do I love the originality of the kitchen but the Superman artwork and white table and chairs just makes me swoon. 

Don't you just love the book storage! In my case it would be for magazines....

Mama Mia!

The Mama Shelter in Marseille has caught my eye and I thought I'd share a few photos with you. I really like the way they have incorporated words into most of their spaces. This particular photo caught my eye for that very reason. Not to mention the ingenious use of the stairs.
